Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using NY/NJ Rental Group ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
Eligibility
The Platform is intended for use by licensed real estate agents ("Agents") and prospective renters ("Renters") in the states of New York and New Jersey. By registering as an Agent, you represent and warrant that you hold a valid real estate license in the applicable state(s).
Listings and Content
Agents are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of all listing content they submit. NY/NJ Rental Group reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove any listing at any time, for any reason. Listings that contain false information, discriminatory language, or violations of fair housing laws will be removed immediately and the associated account may be terminated.
User Conduct
You agree not to use the Platform to: (a) post false or misleading information; (b) violate any applicable law or regulation, including fair housing laws; (c) harass, threaten, or harm other users; (d) transmit spam or unsolicited communications; or (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform.
Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform not submitted by users — including the design, layout, logos, and software — is the property of NY/NJ Rental Group and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. User-submitted content remains the property of the submitting user; however, by submitting content, you grant NY/NJ Rental Group a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the Platform.
Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. NY/NJ Rental Group does not guarantee the accuracy of any listing, the availability of any property, or the licensing status of any agent beyond our initial verification process. Renters are encouraged to independently verify all information before entering into a lease agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NY/NJ Rental Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
